Laris Insurance Agency LLC has a staff comprised of thirty-six dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced insurance professionals. The agency is owned by four members of the Laris family. Owners, Rudy Laris Sr., and his sons Rudy Laris Jr. and Ross Laris are agents / account managers, primarily active in commercial sales. They also oversee marketing relations with the numerous insurance companies which Laris Insurance Agency LLC represents. Rudy Sr. and Rudy Jr each hold a B.S. degree from Nicholls State University. Rudy Sr.'s daughter, April, is the fourth owner and she is a graduate of Loyola University. Her primary responsibilities are in the financial and office managements aspects of the business.
SALES AGENTS / ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES:
The agency has a total of nine Sales Agents / Account Executives, who generate the agency's sales to new customers and maintain the agency’s relationships with existing customers. Our agents are knowledgeable and active in all lines of insurance. In addition to Rudy Laris Sr., Rudy Laris Jr., and Ross Laris, the agency has six agents servicing our clients. They are Clyde Hartman, Philip Hadaway, Rudy Laris III, and Robert Boudreaux in the Lockport office, and Brian Desselles and Tate Zyroll in the Metairie office. Craig Romero is also a sales agent working in our New Iberia office.
The commercial lines department in the Lockport office is
comprised of a friendly and professional staff of seventeen. Julie Parks
and Allyson Eschette are the managers of the Commercial Department, as
well as Senior Account Managers for existing clients. Together they have
amassed over 50 years of accumulated insurance knowledge and
COMMERCIAL NEW BUSINESS MARKETING:
The commercial lines department also includes marketing manager Letia Clement, whose primary responsibility is marketing for new business customers. Letia is dedicated to servicing the needs of prospective commercial clients. She consults with them to gather vital information concerning their businesses. By getting to know the client and their business operations, she hopes to convince them to become long-term clients of Laris Agency by providing an exceptional insurance coverage program with excellent price economics. In doing so, Letia will utilize a vast network of top rated insurance companies and brokers throughout the world. Through these companies Laris Agency strives to acquire insurance coverage that is best suited for each individual client.
Sonny Breaux, a licensed claims adjuster, along with his assistant, are also members of our commercial department. With a specific role dedicated to benefit our clients, Sonny’s duties are to guide and advise our clients through all aspects of the process should they be involved in a claim. Sonny can assist in the claims reporting process and advise during the adjusting and settlement phases.
Julie, Allyson, Letia, Sonny and the remainder of our staff are devoted to our clients through an emphasis on prompt, courteous and reliable service.
Our agency has a full service department that provides personal insurance to satisfy all of our clients' needs. Michelle Boudoin and Amber Hebert are senior personal lines account managers. They assist the agency’s existing clients in all aspects of their personal insurance, such as Auto, Home, Flood, Mobile Home, RV, Motorcycle, Boat, and Umbrella. They consult with major insurance companies such as Progressive, Unitrin/Kemper, La. Citizens, and Lighthouse to obtain the most coverage at the best price. Missy Womack assists with the needs of new prospective clients.
LIFE AND HEALTH:
Philip Hadaway is the senior sales agent regarding all policies and coverages for Life and Health insurance in the Lockport office. Philip has a vast knowledge in the field with which to help customers understand the important facts needed to purchase the right individual life or health insurance policy to fit their needs and budget. Philip will utilize his over 30 years of experience and his close working relationships with companies such as Humana and Blue Cross. Tate Zyroll is the sales agent for all Life, Health and Benefits insurance in the Metairie office. Policies are available to cover life, hospitalization, dental, vision, Medicare supplements, and prescription drug coverage. He can also provide businesses with the most comprehensive and economical group health insurance plans for their employees and their families.
ACCOUNTING AND I.T.:
Our Accounting / I.T. department is managed by Mark Theriot, who has a B.S Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. Mark coordinates the operations of the agency’s state of the art agency management system which is used to maintain all client information and account billing information. Customer data is stored in an out-of-state secured data facility. Other members of the accounting department staff include Monica Poole who specializes in the insurance company payables area. Sally Juneau is the member of the accounting department who handles the areas of vendor payables and human resources.
Paula Breaux is the main receptionist at Laris Agency. It is Paula’s cheerful voice that will first greet you when you contact our Lockport office. Monica Poole and Jackie Comeaux also assists Paula with receptionist duties. Donna Trahan is the receptionist answering calls made to the Laris Insurance Agency office in New Iberia. All of them will happily determine which of our staff can best satisfy your needs and will connect you with that person as timely a manner as possible.
